Always actively involved in every aspect of the music business, Manny has discovered and taught some of the best vocal talent coming out of Miami today. In addition, he has a thriving vocal studio in New York City. His students include Eglise Gutierrez, Elizabeth Caballero, Mabel Ledo, Susie Diaz, Jorge Arcila, and Eduardo Calcano, all of whom are pursuing international opera careers and singing in major theaters, such as Teatro Colon de Buenos Aires, New York City Opera, New York's Carnegie Hall, Florida Grand Opera, San Francisco Opera and Rome Opera in Italy. Manny's great love and knowledge of opera is also reflected in his prestigious seat on the Board of Directors of the Florida Grand Opera.

Manny has held on to his dream and love of singing. Through the years, he discovered a passion and special connection to the classical crossover genre and musical theatre, particularly in that of his native Spanish tongue. To that end, Manny has released two albums: Broadway Latino, on the Universal label, with Cuban superstar Maggie Carles, and Wonderlust, a fusion of classical music and dance. Evelio Taillacq wrote about Manny Perez in the Spanish press: "We are dealing with an interpreter with a beautiful timbre, with just measure and magnificent phrasing suited for the semi-classic style".

Manny's greatest production though, is his beautiful daughter Miranda.
